PRESCHOOL IN ST. AUGUSTINE, FLBig growth in little moments

A Preschool Experience Built for What Comes Next.

Preschool is a time of growing independence, new friendships, bigger questions and exciting discoveries. At Tadpole Prep, children ages 3–5 learn through play, projects, routines and relationships while building confidence for their next chapter.

More than getting ready

Growing Confidence, Curiosity & Independence.

Preschool is about more than practicing letters and numbers. It is a time for children to learn how to participate in a group, solve problems, communicate ideas, follow routines, build friendships and discover what they can do.

Confidence

Children gain opportunities to try, practice and take pride in doing more for themselves.

Communication

Books, conversations, songs and classroom experiences help children express ideas and build language.

Friendships

Group experiences give children opportunities to practice cooperation, communication and belonging.

Independence

Routines and age-appropriate responsibilities help children prepare for the next stage of school.

Learning is everywhere

Learning Through Play, Projects & Everyday Experiences.

Language & Early Literacy

Stories, conversations, songs, vocabulary and early literacy experiences.

Number Sense & Thinking

Counting, sorting, patterns, problem-solving and early mathematical thinking.

Social-Emotional Growth

Friendships, communication, routines, confidence and learning to work within a group.

Creative & Physical Development

Art, music, movement, outdoor play, fine-motor practice and hands-on exploration.

Learning with purpose

Learning Through Experience.

At Tadpole Prep, our Preschool program uses Experience Preschool Curriculum, a research-based curriculum created specifically for children ages 3–5.

Through hands-on experiences with stories, art, music, movement, games, manipulatives and playful exploration, children have opportunities to build skills while doing what young learners do best — experiencing the world around them.

Experience Preschool was previously known as Mother Goose Time. Curriculum details are described by Experience Early Learning. Learn More About Experience Preschool →

Preschool learning doesn't have to mean sitting at a desk. Experience Preschool incorporates hands-on materials and activities that give children opportunities to explore ideas through play, conversation, creativity and movement.

And Then We Celebrate How Far They've Come.

Preschool graduation is more than a ceremony. It is a chance to celebrate the friendships, growth, confidence and little moments that have shaped a child's Tadpole Prep journey.

For families who have watched their child grow from earlier classrooms into preschool, graduation marks a very special next chapter.
