ABOUT TADPOLE PREPWhere little learners belong

A Place Built Around Childhood.

At Tadpole Prep, we believe early childhood should be filled with connection, curiosity, play and plenty of room to grow. Our St. Augustine early learning center serves children from 6 weeks through 5 years in an environment designed to help little learners feel known, encouraged and excited about what comes next.

The heart behind Tadpole Prep

Meet Lauren.

Tadpole Prep is more than classrooms and programs — it's a community shaped by the people who care for the children and families who walk through its doors.

Lauren plays an important role in creating the warm, welcoming experience families associate with Tadpole Prep.

More of Lauren's story — in her own words — is coming to this page soon. Until then, the warmest introduction happens in person, during a visit to Tadpole Prep.

Little learners. Big futures.

Childhood Is Meant to Be Experienced.

Young children learn by doing. They learn through play, conversation, movement, relationships, repetition, creativity and the everyday experiences that make childhood special.

At Tadpole Prep, we want children to have opportunities to explore their world while building confidence, independence and connections with the people around them.

Belong

Children grow best when they feel safe, welcomed and connected.

Play

Play gives young children a natural way to explore ideas and make sense of their world.

Discover

Questions, movement, creativity and hands-on experiences encourage curiosity.

Grow

Every stage brings new skills, new independence and new reasons to celebrate.

Teachers Make the Difference.

Children remember the people who made them feel comfortable enough to try, safe enough to explore and proud enough to keep going. Our teachers are an important part of creating that experience every day.
